Should I get the INJEN SHORT RAM INTAKE?
I am not sure if it is a major improvment.. Will the car sound good?.. Also will throttle response improve?.. I am looking to do these two things and was a little bit weary of spending 230$.. let me know.. thanks

The car will sound louder, you will notice more engine noise. Throttle response will defintiely improve. As with power, its a 50/50 thing really since the short ram will intake less dense air as opposed to air outside the engine bay.
But honestly, $230 for a + or - 5 hp gain is definitely not worth it. The only thing worth the Injen is the carb sticker. If you're not afraid of cops, you should fab your own intake, usually costs about $20-$40.And while you do that, you can make a true cold air via going through the metal sheet under the intake box.

I have the Injen Intake with a huge Rod Millen Air Filter pod. I would venture to say you will not notice any gains but does look nice.....
I also opened up the airflow under the headlight and made a heat shield to slow down engine heat to the airfilter... Also have Air breaker inserts installed... All that and I maybe gained 5-10hp with this intake setup, maybe......Like I said it looks good but you will not notice any power gains with just the Injen intake...no way....not much increased noise either...
