Default obd1 1jz swap in 96+ sc300??

Ok I new here, but I have been searching for 2+ hours now and I can't find definitive answers about swaping a obd1 1jz from a soarer into a 97 sc300. What problems will I encounter as far as wiring is concerned? I have read tons of posts about swapping in a 1jz, but nothing that really deals with harness differences between different year cars.

I am wondering mainly about the chassis harness in the car mating with the engine harness. I don't know for sure, but I think I will have a problem there. Any other issues a regaurding this combo?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, and as a tip, maybe the answers could be added to some of these swap guides.

I'm sure someone knows, but maybe they just don't feel like sharing.

Hopefully someone can tell me before I become the guinea pig. I already have the front clip coming here, and I might be picking up a 97 sc300 tomorrow.

oh well I took the plunge and purchased a very nice 97 sc300, so in the next couple of weeks I will swap the 1jz motor and convert it to 5 speed.

I assume its not too difficult though. I guess I was looking for people that have done the swap and could give me a heads-up about things I will have to do or some tips they have learned.
