Stock sparkplugs a surface gap plug?

Was wondering,since the other 4-valve,or pented combustion chamber engines I've owned have run so much better with this type(4 electrodes).
I know Bosch makes a platinum+4 that's like this,but I was curius about the availability of NGK plugs in this design,since they've been far more reliable than the Bosch in any of my other cars.
