The reason why Lexus SC's need FI - video
I decided to play around to day and shoot my Vette running 0-70 and my SC running 0-70.
To make it fair, I decided not to push the Vette over 4k RPM before I shifted. The Lexus I ran ***** out up to the 6k mark. It made it a LOT more fair for the Lexus since it got to wind it's high end rpm's out while the Vette stayed bogged down the whole time.
VIDEO: REMOVED, tired of hosting it.
What you will notice is the Lexus doing everything it can to get to 70 at the top of it's RPM range and the Vette taking a nice sunday stroll in the 3500 rpm range up to 70 effortlessly. My purpose of this video is to show how much of a disadvantage we are at and why we need to help the Aussies develop the superchargers.
So the I6 is easy to turbo............. great, I personally feel the V8 has that potential and more. No one is working on it.
(ps-I am running stock needles while my weekly color change is taking place on my regualr needles)

Arent the Aussies helping us make superchargers for the 1UZ? I've seen them use the EATON blowers off of the Austrailian Jaguars and putting them into our V8s. Thats pretty crazy. Another blower Ive seen from them is an actual kit which you can buy for about $6000 USD. I just cant remember were I saw this. It was about a year ago. They even had a nice little hard to find video of it on the SC400. It was leaving tire marks as far as the eye can see without having to power launch.

Yes, my freakin integra was faster then my poor little SC300 and it got close to double the gas mileage. The SC better be a beast with a turbo or else its gonna be pawned off for something different.
