Supra Auto TT LSD Install in sc300 pumpkin?
The Answer is YES, this limited slip differential unit fits in the rear lexus sc300 differential housing and the car feels much more stable and safer to drive with a limited slip differential. 
Will this Torsen LSD unit from a MKIV Supra Auto TT work in my 1995 Lexus SC300 5 speed rear pumpkin? (was planning to re-use the stock ring gear and pinion shaft to retain stock gearing).

There are many critical alignments and torque settings required of a differential. You should research it more. I know that feeler gauges are needed to set the tension between the pinion and the ring gear. I have never setup a differential myself, had my mechanic do it. Improperly setup differentials fail prematurely.

Why don't you use the entire pumpkin? I have a '95 SC300 also and I want to go with a LSD. I was trying to double check to make sure that the pumpkin from a Supra TT is a direct bolt on and what the gearing is so I make sure I buy the right thing. Don't mean to hijack your thread but I'm looking for the same basic info. Any help is appreciated.

I just wrote a thread about this not long ago.
The pumkin from an automatic supra (6 speed won't work) will bolt right in, except the pinion flange needs to be swapped from stock sc onto the supra pumpkin.
It works, all the way, good luck.

Supra twin turbo automatic torsen limited slip differential has been installed into my Lexus SC300 Rear differential housing. Everything feels butter smooth and the car is so much more stable when turning and braking now, it feels much safer and predictable to drive. When I accelerate or go WOT (wide open throttle), the car now goes straight instead of toqueing to the side and making the rear-end squirley. Dynosaur Performance did the install in just one morning!

I cannot divulge that information, please call Dinosaur for pricing. They've been the most fair priced shop out of many others in Dallas. They really pay attention to all those small little details that makes a car run nice.
