2 JZ's
Not 2JZ, but two JZ's
Thursday my 2nd 1JZGTE comes in via Overnite. I already have the supra TT rad comming, new waterpump, new timing belt, new yota thermostat, already have guy setup to extend harness.. i pretty much got it all ready to go.
Its going to be nice owning two 1JZGTE sc300s
I will sell one tho

LOL, the cars will be setup similar appearence wise til i get my body kit installed. Yes i know i said i'd never run one, but when someone who's sponsored by Origin tells you they can get you a full SC kit for $600... you don't turn that down!

Just did the swap in my SC300.. It was the greatest experiance of my life. Just cant get the turbo timer to work properly!!
First off, I just got done a few months ago with my project car. I have a '94 SC300 with a J-Spec 2JZ-GTE Engine and 6 Speed. From a 95 TT Supra...
I have the HKS Type-0 T.Timer. The shop that did the swap could not figure out how to get the turbo timer connected. They tried to wire it but they said it couldnt work.
The SC300 has a telegraphing steering wheel, I was told it was b/c of that(it can be disabled.) I just can't accept that answer you know? I am driving around with all my gauges operational, except for one of the most important. I am tired of sitting in my car for a min after each drive.
Can anyone give insight on this?

Let me know if you find a decently priced 5spd SC300 around. Been trying to find one for a little while now w/o any luck.
