Default Do it yourself or job it out?

Either way you need to look at lextreme.com

I have purchased a spare V8 with 45K on it (THANKS R&S!!!) and am pulling most parts off it to rebuild and keep as spares then will rebuild the engine from ground up and pop an Eaton Supercharger on her.

Lextreme is where I have found the most amount of info on our v8's

Its pretty easy once u have a spare motor laying around. Some smart people try to make turbo headers without taking the motor out. Its a nightmare. Spare motor is about $400 and save u headaches. With basic tools and desire with some money you can do it. Best of luck...

yup its that easy. Buy a motor, turbo manifolds, and a turbo and slap it together and you got yourself a turbo!

You can use headers/flanges from a Tundra 4.7L V8 or the stock ones as the basis for the new header. The headers would have to be custom made so either platform will work to start off with.
the Turbo inlet flange you can get to match whatever turbo you decide to use.
