Just picked up a nice shiny frontmount and an ACT 6-puck... as of tomorrow my 1JZ swap will be started, and should be done by Christmas. I still have to go finish extending the wiring harness before I drop the engine off at my mechanic friends house... so much running around but it will be worth it!

Unfortunately yes, I will be running it with the w58 with ACT 6-puck sprung clutch. Whenever that tranny decides to give out, I'm going to have my r154 out of the Supra ready to be swapped.

sounds good... it works fine with the 1J. but the R154 is stronger.

Lol yeah... let me know if you're ever up in Cleveland. There is some red turbo SC300... I don't think he's on here, but he's on my MySpace friends list. He's about 30 mins from me and wants to meet up and have some fun boosting around in the SCs this summer.

that sounds like a plan to me. i actually bought my car at Ganley Oldsmobile up there if you know where thats at. Ill make sure to come up before summer for sure.

Yeah for sure... never seen SC300s cruising together lol... I always see one, speed to catch up, only to find an 80 year old woman lol

HAHAHAH i have that same exact problem! i see a few here and there and they are either ghetto'd out with 20's that look like crap and are beat to hell or a geezer is driving it like she broke it.

Update: Worked on the wiring all through Friday night, then pulled the car in and just kind of stared at it for a while. My mechanic friend seems like he's in love with SCs and wants to buy one when he gets his income tax check... if he does, it will mean good things for everyone on the board... I can tell he has some big ideas for my car and SC's in general

Took a break for the Christmas weekend... we'll probably get back to work tomorrow
