swapped 1jz dudes... can you still get ECU codes with US dash?

Default swapped 1jz dudes... can you still get ECU codes with US dash?

I heard that with the USDM dash cluster... it won't decipher any check engine lights or ECU codes

supposedly it only works on the JDM digi dash?

can anyone verify?

Yes, if you move the correct wire.

do you know which wire? I'm not doing the swap right now.... just getting prepared... I wanna knock this out in a weekend.

The blue and yellow wire on the orange connector (pin 18) gets moved over to the green wire on the white connector (pin 9)



its the 3rd one over from the left (pin 9)

lol, no prob... the carpet was already pulled back and those connectors were right there... thats on the project 1jz sc i've been working on.... still got some wiring issues to work out on it
