Flashing Lights in console
Does anybody know why the Overdrive Button flashes on and off? I have a check engine light that is also on, and it flashes on and off whenever it wants to. I'm guessing it could be the alternator needs replacement. Any help would be appreciated.......

Maybe it means that its not working properly and should be checked ASAP. I was driving on the highway today doing 65mph and I decided to use the Cruise Control button. It was going for like a good minute then I noticed the green "CRUISE" began to blink up in the dash and then I stopped cruising. Lucky for my as soon as I came to a complete stop I just restarted the car and worked properly again. I dont know what to tell you about your OD button. A friend of mine has that similar problem on his SC4. Im assuming that its not working properly. I dont believe you can downshift when you press the OD right?
