Default RDMS SC400TT-dyno results..

hi everyone,, a quick little update on rdms car.. over the last couple of months,, the motor had come out for some new forged pistons and a little refreshing..we also decide to go with some bigger toyota turbos,, these a re from the 7mgte-- the ct26 turbos.. anyway,, long story short we were able to get to a dyno yesterday, and at 17-18 psi we were at 510 rwhp.. thats pretty good--being an automatic.. the auto trans is good for eating 15-20%.. there was no real tunning yet,, as a matter of fact i did see th afr as low as 9.5 to 1 but its a good first effort..
there are still some stuff i need to do on the car, but isnt there always stuff to do? anyway, il try and post a pic and il get back to thi thread as soon as i get a chance to look at the data logging i did from yesterday..

thanks for the comps,, as for the trans,, rdm burned one up the original at about 150,000 miles, and broke the input shaft of the replacement i did--so i redid again,,i did upgrade it.-better clutches and stuff.... he had broken the input shaft by breaking the open diff..that was also changed out..
a little more backround for those guys who have not heard of the car-- i had ttwin torboed the original v8 over a year ago,, he was driving it for a while at about 8 psi at about 375rwh--with just an fmu.. i then added 8 extra injectors and an injector controller.. well, he ended up burning a piston down to the ring, so i redid the engine with some forged pistons,,using pretty much all toyota parts, including alot of the original parts..
everything was done in house..
im still trying to get the pic of the dyno run smaller--il get it..

Hey nice numbers. Are you using a piggyback ECU or anything ? What year SC4 motor ? What other mods ? Exhaust, Intake, Stock piston size. How about a little more info.

directQL- hi chris,, yes,, im sure bob will be going to the track when its open again.. last year during the winter, byron was open on newyears day--if its open again,, we might go..
as for the pics ,, heres a link to a post with some pics .. http://lextreme.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4330
info--the motor is bored over-is using forged pistons,8.5 to 1, and thats it, pretty much.. we even used the original toyota bearings, but i did freshen up the heads-a light valve job..
as for piggyback ecu-- it is still using the original toyota ecu--but it has a seperate extra injector controller for the 8 extra injectors i plumbed in.. thats it..they only come on during boost..

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

hi again guys,, i have some more/current news on the car.. for those guys who havnt seen yet,, on sat we dynoed the car and it did 510 rwhp and 490lbs torque at 17-18 psi.. well,, tonight we had achance to get the car tested using rdms d-pic--its like a g-tech except made by autometer..anyway,, long story short,, we did manage a few runs--remember this was on the street- and were able to get a 12.8 at 124.9 mph..as a matter of fact,, all of the runs were over 121 mph.. as for the et,, we were not leaving hard/underboost..
so where does this leave us-- i dont know,, i am pretty sure we can get a few more mph,, but,,. we were hitting the rev limiter in 3rd because we were keeping the overdrive off.. i am pretty sure having the overdrive on would burn up some clutches quickly, so we will need to decide how to proceede for more mph--if we can leave the overdrive on.. anyway,, i am pretty sure we will make an effort to get to the track on new years day--if its open again.. in any case,, the car is running great,, and seems to be handling the power well..
