My PS pump was leaking so I replaced it (alternator looks ok, if it dies I'll get a new one). I also bled the system but it still makes noise (whines) when I turn the steering wheel, what's the deal? - Any suggestions?

The system needs to be bled properly, as it is not a normal ps system. There are quite a few more solenoids and such as compared to a basic system.

Also be sure to check the o rings on the lines going to and from the pump...this can cause air to enter the system.

It may work itself out sooner or later from driving though.

I have the same problem with mines.I just got it repalced and when fill it up with fluid it works fine, but in like 2 weeks the fluid level goes down drastically.I wipe the bottom of the pump and the I find no signs of leaking oil.

Could it be the type of fluid I use?

If the level is going down, it's almost a given that there is a leak somewhere. You could be having a problem with the fluid foaming up, then overflowing.

There are a couple places that it could be leaking but you won't know just from looking.
