You are right the Aluminum dash kit looks like crap. I won't do that again. And there is some electrical tape at the base of the shifter. If I had to do it again I would skip the dash kit and do a much neater job overall.
I used a half inch spacer at the shifter mounting plate. to get it to fit.

In the middle of doing this.

Did you use the entire Supra Shifter assembly?

Or did you only use the stick part from the supra and fit it into the sc baseplate?
