Default 1jz head swap ??

I have an opportunity to buy a 1jz head on supraforums. for those of you considering or have done the 2jz head swap (william call me i lost your number) what do you think about this option?

Btw , its going on a vvti block and understand there are some limitations there; that being said, what would i need to make it work? what would prevent it from working ?

the goal is 400-450rwhp with a small single.

Aren't most 1.5JZ swaps done with a 2JZ bottom end out of the 2JZGTE? I was pretty sure that there were some differences between the block of the non-turbo and turbo motors.

Either block gets the job done....... 3.0 liters of displacement is key.
