Is this just me or did the price of xerd headers just sky rocket? I remember a month or 2 ago they were roughly around 300 bucks, looking for something else I stumbled upon them and now I see that theyre close to 500 frigging dollars!!!!!

Theres no way I can buy the same part for 200 bucks more knowing that most people got it for a lot less then I did.

Well I guess when it comes to header time I will look into getting this one instead..

499 or 459 depending whose site you visit... not a very hard choice. Especially since not more then a month ago the xerd were a better deal! Bah price gouging... Shame since initially I favored the xerd since I heard noting but good things about them. I could strictly remember retailers praising 10bucks per hp kinda value.. well not anymore..

And for the record no one sells egr block off plates for the 2jz-ge as of yet...

xerd customer service sucks, ive been trying to contact them, and no word yet, , as for lextasy id think twice before dealing with them...

Yeah, I've been waiting to hear from them for the past 3 months. They're supposed to produce headers/catback for the SC400 for us but never got back to us. I spoke to one of their guys over there and they told me they already had a prototype that they've produced and wanted to set up a meeting, but haven't heard back from them even after numerous emails.

Then they got greedy? Im not sure.

Na performance had them listed at 459 for "sale" so I look at xerd and sure enough they had it at 4 friggin 99.

I hope non-turbo can chime in.

Whats wrong with lextacy? I really wanted a xerd but theres no way Ill give money to price gouging cause. No friggin way im paying 70-80 percent more then what the last guy last week paid for the same exact part no way!

I dont know the history with lextacy.. but its the only other header other then xerd that I know off. Do they have a history?

yeah i saw it in the clubhouse i think., about this one guy that used to be a member here on CL, but got banned, so he started lextasy, i forget the rest of the details, but i dont know if he can be trusted...

Here was the response I got from NAPERFORMANCE.

"No, they're $459 now, I only have 3 left in stock and
the demand is high so I bumped the price up.

If you guys want to do a groupbuy I can do 20 for

I've set up a few groupbuys for parts in the past for 240sx owners but im pretty new here. If I can talk the minimum down to 10 I may throw down the money and get them. Pm me if interested.

Id be interested if this is done after september... .. 16 my next paycheck.. Although honestly I didnt want buy one just yet.. Ill go do it whenever the group buy is if I can.. Because i dont want to pay the inflated price..

And you have a 240sx too? sweet :P.
