FYI, I ordered my exhaust yesterday. HKS TI Carbon single muffler, JspecSC3 convinced me to get it. I will just be running a single exhaust on my NA. I am gonna have it cocked up at an angle. I am in the process of buying my turbo parts for my car, figured I would get exhaust out of the way. Will follow up with installation and pics once everything is done.

O yeah one more thing. When I take my car to the exhaust shop what side should I tell them to install it on?? I have seen a couple pics where guys have put it on the left side. But then I saw some soarers and their exhaust is on the right. I am not sure

Well the exhaust (downpipe from the engine) exits on the right side. I think the right side exit is the most direct. But, it really doesn't matter. Which ever side your prefer. I personally like the right side for single exhaust.

Choose the side opposite the driver for better weight distribution.

Wow, thats a pretty pricey exhaust.... I just got my hks hi-power mounted yesterday. Be ready to have that exhaust shop make new hangers and a new mid-pipe

Also another thing, 2.5 inch piping?? or 2.25 ?? I think most would go with 2.5, just wanted to make sure.

Mine is on the left side, but keep in mind that the drivers side is the right side in the UK.

I would go with what CleanSC says and mount it opposite the driver.

You might want to get 3" pipework, depending on what your turbo plans are of course.

Well I am planning on going turbo, but not for a lil while. I am just now starting to buy some parts for it. So at the minimum 4 months b4 turbo. So I will stick with a smaller piping for now. But for now 2.5 I think is the right size to go.

Well since your going boost, you should just get your car ready and get 3" piping instead of 2.5". If you get 2.5" you will have to spend more if you are going to get 3" when your turbo is install, your going to have to get your pipings redone. I dont know if you CLers would agree with me but i would do that since money is hard to come by for me .

I guess you would lose power but not a lot of power, and remember, 4 months is just around the corner . But to think of it, 4 months is a lot of time to save up for 3" piping, I guess I wasnt thinking straight (all the fumes from painting the house). Other than that, I say mount it on the left side.

driver side... thats the side its supposed to go on if you got the catback. If you got it for the Supra, the piping diameter for that is like 4". 4" piping on an NA...
