125k miles: well my power steering pump finally killed my alternator, or so I suspect. Damn.... so how much have you guys had to shell out for having both replaced?

if i remember correctly, i think it was about $400 for both installed...it was a while ago...

Someone should make a splatter shield or something to cover the top of the alternator so the PSP doesn't leak on it...

Does this problem effect the SC300s as well or is it specific to the 400s?

on the 300 the alternator is on the other side of the motor so i don't think so...but dont worry...your water pump is above it

Hey Tony, where'd you get your psp and alternator? Any brand price-point to look for in particular?
