dynoed the car last Sat.
SInce we have a buyer for the dyno coming on wednesday to pick it up I tried to get my car finished before Sat just so I can base tune it on the dyno. With sat coming up quickly, it didn't look so good since I had TONS of stuff to do.
Angel was to come tune a couple other cars so I thought we can tune my AEM, but as soon as i get in on Sat morning, I'm not getting an injector pulse and can't seem to figure it out. We decided to jump a few wires (ghetto) to get it running and to have Angel set up the AEM. I was kinda scared to throw it on the dyno because of the jumper wires just dangliing but since it was my last chance we did it. I haven't driven the car in a few months and wasn't quite sure if the 6 speed swap was a success or not.
I strap it down and drive on the rollers to see how it feels. Get to third and hear a crunch and grind. Third gear synchro is bad but all others are good, I get all the way to 6th and everything seems fine. Since the motor has 0 miles on it we took it easy on the dyno and only brought it to 5600RPM at 13spi with 6 month old 87 octane mixed with 104 and made 421 and 395 torque at the wheels. We could have hit mid 500s if we brought it all the way up, but I called it a night and took her off the dyno.
So there you go....
421HP 395 TQ 13 PSI 5600RPM
Here's the graph I printed out. Notice it was 98 degrees and the pull is from 3K-5600RPM
