yeah mine squeeked before the pedal broke off...hahaha. ever since i had the car the pedal squeeked with or without the car on. im sure its mecanical and has something to do with the pedal itself as with my squeeking, it seems like its comming directly from the pedal. when i get a chance to take the entire assembly to get my pedal welded back on, i'll see if there is anything around there thats causing the squeeking.

Back from the deeead from 4 years! But did anyone actually solve this mystery? Mine still drives me insane!

Works better on hot days, but a lot more obnoxious on cold days...so mechanical?
I replaced my clutch, still squeaks.
Lubed everything up, helped for a while but still squeaks.

Can anyone cure the curse?

Mine squeaks too. It's so obnoxious, I've tried WD-40'ing everything to no avail.

Try white lithium grease instead or a little regular axle grease.

I could see a stiff clutch pedal from a heavy duty pressure plate causing it to break off.

Looks like the pedal assembly is breaking up near the round clevis pin joint. That clevis pin has to be greased up.

My clutch squeaks religiously on rainy days, at least as religiously as a clutch can be. It is also very pronounced simply from high humidity in the air. (I live in Georgia, so that occurs frequently.)

I got up under the dash, and my clutch pedal makes noise from the pivot bolt up top of the assembly. I bet the noise would go away by taking that bolt out and lubing it with axle grease.

I didn't feel like messing with it...installed my wide band though

Haha... mine has squeaked for years! My friends notice, but I've learned to ignore it. Still want to take care of it, though.

I've got the same problem. It is more prnounced on humid days than anything. Some axle grease shld clear it up. I put white lithium and it stopped for a week or so.

Mine's silent. When I assembled the clutch pedal, I greased every Bushing that could make noise. Then again, I just installed this, so it hasn't had time to get old. On the other hand, my E-brake lever makes a noise like a train coming to a stop. LoL

I had this, and it mysteriously went away.

now if someone could make my 6puck clutch and extreme pressure plate not chatter when engaging under 3000 rpm's i would be impressed and grateful

My car squeaked also but went away when you put pressure on the clutch/pedal. It was weird, but my friend took a look and said it was something with the assembly. He cleaned it up and sprayed it down with lube and went away. Unfortunately its coming back i gotta take a look or ask him where he shot lube at. Hopefully i can fix it soon so I dont have to live with the annoying squeaks .
