Default 2jzgte with 5 speed or 6 speed supra tranny?

Hey, I'm new to sc300's but I was wondering how the sc300 5 speed transmission holds up to a 2jzgte compared to having the getrag 6 speed. The reason being is that I want a preswapped sc300 but All i find are ones that retain the original 5 speed. Will it hold up as well as the getrag 6 speed? Did it have any problems with synchros or production flaws? And how is the gearing in the 5 speed compared to the getrag? Thanks alot for your help!

There are many many topics already covering this here and on supraforums.com, but the stock W58 5-speed is not nearly as strong as the getrag 6-speed. It seems to vary but the 5-speed likes to give up at around 4-500rwhp from what I have read.
With the stock 5speed tranny and rear end the gearing is alot shorter than in a 6speed twin turbo. I believe the 5speed will top out around 150-160mph, where as the 6-speed can wind out far higher than that.
