I thought the Drift bandwagon was dying down?

you're more than a rookie...you're more than a newb... you havent researched anything... i cant answer your question because its too vague and too generalized...

i wouldnt bother asking drifting questions too much tho

How can anyone just throw money around like that without doing any bit of research? You obviously have money over wits why dont you try taking it to a shop instead?

I am just going to post in this thread so he can read my sig.

Please son, click the link, watch the vid, and let off the caps lock.

also, if you can, try and contact the folks at Turbo Imports. I think, not positive, but think they may be able to help.

Cheers and happy posting!

There is a guide out there. It will cost you 200 bucks and will tell you exactly what to do.
Search this forum for the web address. If you can't find it pm me.
Don't ask people for copies since phil worked ALOT on this manual and he deserves the money. There are cross reference charts in there.
Worst case send me the harness, 500 bucks and return shipping and I'll do it for you.

If you have a jdm 2j it'll be a pain using a a usdm 2j harness.

thats not true... USDM harness connects right up to the JDM motor... only difference is you need to use the USDM ECU and the USDM injectors (plus resistor box) and USDM MAF (instead of JDM MAP)

I just helped my friend pull out a 2JZGTE this morning...the harness didnt look that difficult. Try the dealer, I think they might sell for about $500 give or take. But that shouldnt be a problem for you. Dropping in the motor doesnt seem that hard either. Dritfer Soarer all the way! .

There is a little more to that than what you named.
