Default A Few Questions for the 1JZ-GTE Owners

Well now that I have made the order for my 1JZGTE swap I am buying many other parts I need/want for the swap. I already have 2 spools of 20 gauge wire and such along with Apexi 60mm boost gauge & S-ACF II, XS MBC, us spec TT injectors with box, 255 lph fuel pump, Aeromotive FPR, and other little goodies, but I have a few questions on some other parts i need to order...
-Does the supra TT downpipe bolt up to the 1JZ exhuast manifold?
-Will a FMIC kit from a supra TT fit an SC with a 1JZ?
-Is it ok to run the factory radaitor? If not, which one should I use?
-WIll the upgraded aluminum uppper radaitor piping off the supra TT fit in a 1jz SC? If not, what hoses would I use?
-Can a use a supra TT Intake?

-Is it ok to run the factory radaitor? If not, which one should I use? Yes the stock one will be fine, just keep an eye on the top of it for any signs of cracking. If you wanted to run an aftermarket one you could get a Fluidyne, but you will also need a transmission cooler as the stock rad has that built in. *Edit, I noticed that you have a manual so no worries about the trans cooler then.
-WIll the upgraded aluminum uppper radaitor piping off the supra TT fit in a 1jz SC? If not, what hoses would I use?I do not belive that they will be suitable. You could just get some custom fabricated.
-Can a use a supra TT Intake? No, Again you can buy one specific to the Soarer.
let me know if you require links to the various bits you listed above and I will provide.

No problem... It is a large box though so shipping will not be "cheap".

Good luck with whatever you choose.

1. Not too sure on the downpipe, Trust makes an MX front pipe for 1JZ Soarers (last time I checked, but too expensive for me, I'm getting everything custom)
2. Might as well get an FMIC kit for a Soarer TT (Trust, HKS, ARC, Blitz to name a few)
3. I haven't heard of people blowing up the factory radiators (unless the top tanks haven't been changed (due to age), they usually don't give problems even with a dirty big frount mount)
4. You can get stainless steel piping for a 1JZ Soarer from Marlew Manufacturing here in Australia (www.lexussoarer.com)
5. I tried fitting an HKS pod filter (off a JZA80 Supra) onto my factory intake pipe and it wouldn't fit (I think there's around 5~10mm difference in diameter between the two).

Hope that helps you out.

I bought a 2jz down pipe stainless on ebay for $30. the pipe follows the flow under the car perfect. but the flange is diff. Im grinding the welds to remove 2jz flange and I was told the 1jz flange is the same as the 7m. So either I'll weld on my 1jz flange or make a copy

anyone got good up-close pics of the 1jz downpipe? or maybe a confirmation on the flange being the same as a 7m?

I'm pretty sure this is a Supra cut, its a 1st gen 1jz as well
But look at the exhaust flange; looks identical to the 2jz as far as dimensions go

if this is correct, it'd be ****-easy to pick up a ebay downpipe for dirt cheap for a MKIV (which eliminates the stock cat and routes perfectly under a SC) and cut the flange and reweld in the correct clocked position
I'll post pics of supra downpipes so we can observe the difference
