what kind of powerband

i'd be looking at a T61 in various guises... decent spool with plenty of headroom up top the rpmband and efficient with LOTS of boost...
600whp on 2jz's... so something similar on a 1jz with a nice single header

I guess that would depend on how much power you want to make.. but like Bean said - a 61 is nice. Boost Logic just introduced a T67 that will flow 650rwhp with spool characteristics of TTC mode.

please be more specific...
600bhp or 600whp?

for 600whp, the T61 is pretty much the best bang for the buck... I'd get the .70 or .59 exhaust A/R... .70 if you wanna push 600whp

for 600bhp, a T57 or a T62-1 would be good... I'd go with the T57 personally, I'm not fond of T04B series turbos... not much headroom in the boost department

I was looking for 600 + whp. But not looking for a big turbo with a lot of lag. I need a turbo that will respond quick and still be able to handle it self up top

My T78 lags... so anything smaller than that is sufficient.

for 600whp, again I say T61... it spools fast, will get you to the mark with high boost levels... and will still make good power at lower boost...

Don't get a T78... turbo with lots of lag and not much relative payoff... you can get a Garret of the same relative size to make more power and spool faster...

Well your **** out of luck - you're going to have lag with that kind of power. Especially with the 61.. you will need the large a/r.. and that's going to increase lag.

I know that there will be a little lag but I dont want something that will take a lifetime to spool up I'm not only looking to go up top with it

A 61 with a small A/R will come to 500rwhp.. go with that if you want to eliminate lag. What tranny?
