Seems like there's a lot of unanswered questions.

This is one of the threads I followed when I removed my EGR. I think the uncertainties are mostly due to people not clarifying '92-94 vs '95+ EGR systems, as they have different connectors and sensors. The early ones are easy to silence with just the resistor, but the later ones seem to be more problematic.

Default Help!

I'm in the middle of a delete in my 93 Sc400. I have the coolant bypass done and the entire ugly egr stuff pulled off from the intake. I'm not sure what to plug and remove from there, this is the only thing holding me back. All help and guidance is greatly appreciated.

If the car is running rough at 80 km/h (50 m/h) try first to block the E-port tube near the throttle valve to EGR Vacuum Modulator. (E-port is the nearest port to the firewall of the three ports).
My car is LS400 -93 European model.

This solved my rough driving problem an did not cost much and you can do it yourself easily. Now the car drives fine at any speed.
