Default hmmm..engine stalled at IDLE today...weird

I was driving to work and I was stuck in traffic and my car sat in idle for 5-10 minutes. I have a 93 SC4 and 170k on it. Car JUST had it's servicing. Everything was fine. But then suddenly my car stalled. I turned it back on and it was fine..but I can't figure out WHY it would stall???

Anyone else have that happen to them? should I be concerned it would happen again?
Alternator? Engine?
What could it be?

Fuel pump ECU and a can of Seafoam.

Get to it.

(go ahead and use the seafoam first).

LOL

Could be anything really.
If it ever happens again, note any similarities in the days on which it happens: temperature, humidity, etc...

Bad alternator would turn on your battery light.
Bad battery wouldn't start your car afterward.

Could possibly be a loose connection.
Did your trip-meter reset?

Matter of fact I have, but no-one has ever mentioned seafoam.
EDIT: I stand corrected. I guess seafoam is a product used to clean the internals of your engine.
Weird.
First time I've seen advice that tells you to purposely put water into your engine.
I always thought water in the combustion chamber is a very bad idea.

The better half of the posts are diagnosis pulled from the dark place.

Dunno what to tell ya Mike.
If it happens again, I can come by and take a look at it.

I went the backasswards route and just added it to a full tank of gas.

Default Happened again the same day

Well it happened again. THIS TIME it happend while I was going 40mph. It was pretty scarey.
I pulled over to the shoulder and turned the car back on. The engine just died.

The only consistent thing I can think of is that I had the radio on at a high volumne and as stupid as it sounds..>I wonder if it's an electrical issue that caused the car to die.

I drove the car 3-4 more times w.out the radio and no problems.

My buddy looked at it and he thinks it's the voltage meter...

Anyone else got opinions? I checked the engine bay and nothing out of the ordinary.

Check your battery terminals and clean them good. Do you get any dimming of headlights or dash lights when you press on the brake?

Default Engine Stalling

Engine stalling can be caused by air leakage downstream of the airflow meter. With the throttle open, the leakage is usually small and the ECU can adapt. At idle, or when you are travelling at speed and let off the gas quickly, the leakage, which bypasses the airflow meter, is a higher percentage of the total air going into the engine and the ECU can't always adapt quickly enough, so the engine stalls.

Check for broken or disconnected vacuum hoses and try tightening all of the clamps on the plastic pieces upstream of the throttle body. Also check for any cracks in the plastic pieces, especially in the bellows downstream of the airflow meter. If there are any cracks, you can buy a new piece, or use the universal solution: duct tape.
