I have the light next to the TRAC OFF light on, and since its been on my traction control is always off, and cant turn it back on, granted it doesnt bother me just like having it just in case. I checked the oil, its a little low, but its close to my oil change and at 177k I can figure it'd burn a little bit of oil.

Whats the light though? Then I can go from there, thanks.

Oh and I'd look in the manual but didn't have one with the car when I got it. This is the light on the instrument panel by the way.

it's your check engine light... if you do a search on check engine light you'll get the procedure for checking why exactly you're getting that code.

Well why can't they just put a freakin light that says check engine? Yeesh.

The check engine light basically implies to check the engine. The light is in a shape of an engine and says "Check" iunder it. You are talking about the light between the track off and airbag light on the lower left right?
