Default P/S and Alternator....rebuild or replace?

My alternator has recenlty stopped working, I'm assuming it's the infamous P/S leakage. But still need to confirm this. I read up on a lot of the threads. I was wondering what would be better/cost effective? To rebuild the alternator or buy a new one? Same question with the P/S pump. I'm assuming for the P/S buying the kit and having the seals replaced would be best.
Also if I do choose to buy a new alternator/PS pump are there toyota comprable parts or would aftermarket prove to be better? Looking for reliablility and cost, performance is secondary as I don't have a huge sound system or anything.

Thanks for any help!

If you are tight on cash then rebuilding your old parts is better since it save you money. Just make sure you find a reputable place. If you are going to replace it, in my opinion orignal lexus parts is usually best. Good luck
