trannie?? need upgrade for 8-10psi??

Default trannie?? need upgrade for 8-10psi??

Hi, all,
i am goin to go forced induction soon as wondering if the stock tranny on the 5sp sc300 will hold at around 8-10 psi?? i don't plan on goin any higher anytime soon.


where can i get some supra tt brakes?? i want a set to complement my new setup.

for 10 psi you can do the same kit that jhureau did and the 5spd will hold up to it....its when you get over 400rear wheel hp that the 5spd becomes a weak link...toyomoto did a great kit for jhureau...check out his web site

If it's an r154 then your good but if your using a w58 I would suggest upgrading to an r154

It's like time traveling to the past and learning directly from our Lexus forefathers.

Think about it.

At the time this thread started, the SC3/4 was still "new" and the Fast and Furious series was still years away from launching the Supra into legend status. These OG's were the trailblazers of the JZ legacy.

Now I know how Marty McFly felt.

That's a good point. Can you imagine how expensive it was to buy and boost the sc when it was only a few years old?
