Default Button next to shifter, '98 SC300

I just drove a 98 sc300 and next to the shifter there was something missing. On the upper left side, looks like some kind of button should be there? Maybe shifter lock/unlock??

On a side note the car was pretty clean with a little paint chipping on the spoiler and mirrors. 61K, auto, decent tires, traction control, heated seats, red/tan and he was asking 14.8k. Is that a decent price?

Thanks

Shift lock override, you can order a replacement cover for it at the dealer.

Did all SCs have shift lock override?
Mine is a 94 SC400 and mine has a cover with a little slot in it. It has nothing written on it. It's just a cover with a little slot, maybe to put something in it to put it into shift lock override?

Thanks for the reply, I was guessing it was something like that.

I'm sorry for posting this in the wrong section BTW, I meant to put it in the SC300/400 section.
