I am intrested in doing the 1JZ thats if i don't sell my 5-speed SC300. Does anyone have a write up or how to do??? Before you start to say its not easy, i do have mechanic skills, i have done a 5-speed swap on Subaru SVX (Subaru never made 5-speed) well if anyone has any info that would be great. Thanks. BTW so far i have put new timming belt, crank oil seal and put a new clutch on my friends SC300.

also Got TRD, the reason your lines start to lean out and get statiky is because you need a HKS FCD. or its a GReddy BCC....boost cut defenser, also a GREDDY SCC, speed cut defenser, if you plan on running high boost or high speed, you need these in your 1jz there only about 65-75 a piece

Hello guys........I am a rookie here on this site. Just installed 1jz into my 93 SC by none other than Sea at Finishline Motorsport in Marietta, GA. Unfortunetly, Sea (32 years old) past away last Friday (09/29/06) of a heart attack. Their TT SC had been missing for few months, but heard that they found it in a impound lot in North Carolina. They had shipped to a autosound shop for stereo upgrade.....trying to recover the car. Anyway, the 1jz motor installed in their car was from us. I work for JDM importer. Since, I am on my own now to finish my car, I would deeply appreciate your experience and knowledge regarding the swap. My next step is to figure out the wire harness mess.
I'm impressed with this forum........seems like a bunch of great people.

Thanks

Satoshi

air duct will be replaced soon. it is gangsta not for ever. just must have some time and go to alu welder. I have samco 102 mm clamp and 100 mm alu pipe. so it will not look as ugly.
