Default At what does your SC300 Idle?

When I went to park the SC today I put it in park and noticed that the RMPs jumped up to around 2300 RPMs. Is that normal? It seems like it was a lot higher than usual.

depends, is is very cold outside? the high idle cam would bring you up to around 1900 in very cold weather, so 2500 is high, but not out of reach.

Warmed up - round 750, 800. Yea, it's normal to idle high on cold start/cold days.... It should work it's way down over a few minutes, even as you see the temp needle climb...

It wasn't cold, it's around 60 today. It was also after like a 10 minute drive. Another thing is it has been having acceleration problems on and off for the past couple of months. When you go to accelerate it will hesitate then go; it does it from a stop and at any speed. A lot of people have told me that this is the dist. cap getting moisture in it... do you think that may be whats causing the high idle too?

It's not recommended that I have my clutch changed... since I don't have one

It only does the high ilde when I'm done driving and I put it in park. I don't really know what's going on with that, but I'm sure the other problem is the plugs, wires, cap.
