Default Those with turbo timers

I was wondering which harness you used, if there even is one made for our cars. I can hard wire it in, but if things were easier, i would just get a harness.

Let me know,

Peter

I would think that supra harnesses would work. What kind of turbo timer do you have i had a HKS type 1 and it was the same one out of an mr2 .... so i would be willing to say that its probably the same as the supra TT unless someone has done this before .... hopefully i can tell you in a few months for sure

I don't know about you, but I don't like waiting in my car for it to turn off, and I really don't like shutting it right off after hard driving.

Good luck finding a harness. Soarer harness would posibly work, but they're rare even in Japan. Just wire it yourself. It's very simple. Supra TT harness will not work!

im not saying shut it off after driving hard, just take it easy for two minutes before you come to your destination. thats pretty simple to do.

I just got my Viper 791XV installed and it has a built-in turbo timer feature.
I looked around for a harness for a long time and only found out that the TT Supra harness did not work.
I kinda agree with Gazi here...laying off the throttle for 2 minutes before parking is much cheaper and easier.

your other option is to sell it.

Soarer turbo timer harnesses are not that rare in Japan. Look on Yahoo japan auctions there are plently on there.

I am going to bump this topic.

Has anyone installed the apexi timer on the SC300 yet? I am about to do that soon but mine is a lil more complicated than the rest. It has all these extra features that will require me to tap into the ECU.

nevermind, I wired it in today. Was really simple. I mounted it inside where my ashtray used to be. Didn't fit perfect but I did some fabrication. Works & looks great. Who needs a harness..
