Default stock spark plug gap on 96 SC400?

What is the stock gap on the SC400?
Also, what were the original plugs?
I am replacing my plugs and the old ones are Denso Playnuims. Are these the original plugs?

Thanks,
Adam

I'm pretty sure the original plugs were in fact Denso Platinums up until 1998 which were Denso Iridiums. I went with the Iridium tipped plugs although either should work fine.

I just installed NGK Iridium IX plugs (gapped at .044") and a set of ngk wires. Now my CEL light is flashing and the motor pulses at idle. WTF?
