Default any advice on clutch wear?

my clutch is starting to get a small whine when i the car is idle and my foot is off the clutch. when i press it in the noise goes away. i was told that it is most likely the throwout bearing. i was reccomended to change everything. when i change it should i stick with the OE clutch or should i look into a performance clutch. if anyone comments on the performance clutch. what should i go with?

I have changed mine. I would replace both, since you will have to take the tranny out to replace. I would go with OEM unless you are planning to seriously upgrade the engine. My throwout bearing chirps like crazy. I wish that I had gone with Toyota. I have a centerforce.

I just replaced mine with last weekend with an Exedy OEM replacement and it comes with everything you need. I would do a whole kit, its too much work for just a throw out bearing. You could also do the rear main while your down there, $48.00 from lexus.

So far I really like mine. Great inital grip and fully engages quicklly. The pedal is a little lighter and there are no signs of less pressure. I gave it a pretty good work out the other day and it just held on and made the new 235 45 17 tires suffer. Although, a screaming tire is a happy tire, in which case they were really happy.
