Default WTB: Dragon TC for my SC400

Where is the best place to buy a Dragon torque converter at?

I tried LexusPros but their website seems to be down and my email to them got returned from a mail daemon saying their address 'info@lexuspros.com' is no longer valid.

So....who else has a decent price on new Dragons?

.....and yes, I've already done a search and don't see any good info.

Have you tried Todd at TM Engineering? Bought a Dragon from him last year, and it's the best thing I've done to improve my car's performance.

Good luck.

I received a Email that Lexus pro's site was going to be down for updating for a couple of days. Anyway you can go direct to Precision Industries (follow link). They will let you choose your own stall point and they are about $20 less than Lexus pros. Although I have see Lexus pros run them at $700 shipped, which in that case you cant beat that. I wish we could get together a group buy, I too am in the market for one. Does anyone know how to put together a group buy?

So what's up with you guys? Did LexusPros.com sell and you are the new owner or are you still the same owner from 6-8 months ago?

yes, it's under the same ownership as 6-8 months ago. Actually, the original owner (chris) is still a member of lexuspros, but he's minding other businesses right now.

So I have my new Dragon TC in my SC400 (Thanks Todd)....WOW, what a difference. I honestly have to say that it was the best money I've ever spent for a performance upgrade on this car. Off the line it seriously feels like an extra 50-75HP. I'm spinning the tires off the line when this car would never think about it. It's not a smoke show but just enough spin to really make it fun.

I do notice a little lower fuel mileage and my engine idle is a couple hundred RPM higher, but other than that, it hasn't ruined my luxury SC feel in the least.
