Also of course, all of us with cornering lights need to fabricate harnesses with a relay and fuses to get the new 97 fogs to light up. There's no harness in the car to support these lights from the factory.
I used a premade harness that came with an aftermarket fog light set.

Your way is the right way of doing it.

Glad it helped.
HKS300: The repair kit you're looking for can be found in the Toyota SST Catalog. Ask your sources to look in there, I've seen it and verified it's there. I don't have the part number on me tho, sorry. Not sure on the price but I'm sure it's not cheap as usual.

What is the default behavior of the foglights on 97-2000 SC's? Do they light up when the headlights are on or do they have their own separate switch?

Us 92-94 guys don't have it so easy. See prior posts in this thread.
Scott: the fogs turn on with the headlights and off with the high beams.

From what I've seen SST catalogs are only in the hands of Toyota/Lexus technicians and the like. Not sure on who you have to be or what you have to know to get one. They might want only company techs to have access to the tools.
As for the pins, I doubt the corner auto part place will have them but you never know. Maybe some universal type pin will work. Doubtful. Best source here is using an old piece of harness you might have lying around with plugs to swap the pins out of. Always good to have those lying around in these cases. If not, hit a u-pick junkyard and stuff your pockets.

The toyota parts department around my town is a total waste of time, and i don't have access to junkyards.
Any chance you have a few lying around?
