Question NA 5sp MKIV crank VS 5sp 92 SC300 crank

I've heard there's not a difference in those two cranks...so...I've bought a clutch for my 92 SC300 under the application 93 up NA Supra.....well..I bought the clutch with pressure plate and a flywheel....clutch and pressure plate fit fine without a problem....BUT the flywheel doesn't....my SC had 8(eight) holes on the flywheel and also 8(eight) holes on the crank....but for some reason...my new flywheel only has six..so I called the company where I bought my parts from..I ask him about it..he said..that is the flywheel for the NA Supra...he said the NA Supra has 6 holes...while the TT Supra has 8 holes....SO!!!~~~~?????that's where I'm stuck......Do 92 SC300 share the same tranny as NA MKIV 5sp?????if we do..then why do I have 8(eight) holes like the TT MKIV?????

can someone that knows this help me out...maybe someone that actually had some 1st hand experience can explain this..

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is very intresting beacuse i was under the impression that the W58 5 speed was used in the supra and the sc300. i though they were the same. i will be pulling my tranny off later this week and will let you know how many fw bolts are on mine.

Well, that is interesting. I know they both share the W58, but I guess its possible that they used a different clutch (than the NA Supra) to couple the engine and tranny.

just out of curiosity would the fact that a supra is a 6speed and the sc3 is a 5 speed make any difference?
