Default Factory specs a multi-weight gear oil

You are supposed to run multi-weight oil in the gearbox; 75-90w. I'd start there.

Running 75-90w Neo Synthetic, very nice stuff.

10mm hex key thing! I actually had to leave my car on the ramps in the street while I went to home Depot one of those...grrr. Also, you need some sort of a pump to get the fluid into the differential. I bought this cheapo $5 hand pump that connects up to a gallon jug and that worked wonders!! Ive changed two manual tranny fluids, and my SC3 differential fluid. So thats about it, I would also recommend a breaker bar for breaking the differential nut.

I am currently running Royal Purple Max-Gear 75w-90 synthetic and it is absolutly fantastic. I run it in both my Lex and my 240 and I recommend it to all of my customers because it is so damned good.

it smells really bad though, so don't get any on you....
