Default How do i get rid of Code 71 EGR on SC300?

I've been told ut put a resistor in the wiring to by pass it so that the check engine light will go away for that code.
Which size resistor should i use? Any sort of instructional? I searched for EGR, but didnt find any info for bypassing it.
