Default TT Supra Tranny

I am in the midst of a TT Supra motor swap, and a couple questions came up. I did a search, and I didn't find the answers, so I thought I would put them out there.

First, is there a difference between the 1995 TT Supra Auto tranny, and the 1995 Lexus SC300 tranny? I have both, but I want to know ..... for when I sell it.

Second, is it true that a stock TT Auto tranny will only hold around 400hp to the wheels without rebuilding it? The shop has told me this, and I am going to hold off on the single turbo if this is true.

Thanks for all of your help.

The two are different, 92-97 SC's had an A340E, the 95 Supra had an A341E. Don't touch a single until you're ready to build the trans, either unit.

Thanks for the info.

I am thinking since I have the 95 TT Motor, Auto Tranny, and rear end ... I will use all of those to keep it uniform. Unfortunatly ... a very pricy tranny rebuild is in my future.
