Default 2jzgte

If i'm asking something thats been discussed a million times please forgive me. What exactly is different between the 2jzgte automatic motor and the 6-speed motor? Is it possible to use an automatic motor on a sc300 5-speed tranny? What would have to be done to or changed on the motor?

Default Belt tensioner Assembly different

You will need to get a 6-speed fan belt tensioner assembly. It is a completely different assembly that deals with manual shifts vs the auto shifts. There is actually a small shock absorber as part of it. It is a visual give away anytime you see one of these engines what kind of transmission its coupled to. The engines are identical, they don't give a rats @ss what tranny they wail on, but yes, the ecu needs to be for the 6-speed.
