Help! Need a driveshaft for Supra TT auto transmission
Hi,
I'm doing Supra TT engine and automatic transmission swap. I'm currently stuck because SC300 driveshaft won't fit Supra TT automatic transmission. I need something that would fit into this:

Put the car on a trailer and take it to a driveline shop. They will have a vast array of couplets that can fit any output shaft. My driveshaft for my TH400 conversion was $70 to modify. I'd use the stocker and have them balance it after they hack off the Lexus part, and weld on the Toyota.

I'm afraid it's not that easy. Don't know any shops around here that would do it. Also, I don't have any other driveshafts than SC300 stock one. Know any such shops?

If your using the gte auto tranny i still have my 3" phr driveshaft forsale with adapters and hardware.
Jeff
Edit: One of my adapters doesn't fit the 4.27 rear so you'd have to get another made.

DIrEctQL,
Do what I did. After a lot of examining and test fitting, I found out that you don't have to get a custom driveshaft made if you are going to use a supra TT automatic in a SC300. Just buy a SC400 driveshaft and a SC400 tranmission output flange. Total amount I spent was $150. (bought the parts from a junkyard)
Good luck

There you go. You can also use the 98-00 SC3 shaft and flange.
