Turbo Kit
I HAVE A 93 SC300 THAT I WAS GONNA DO A GTEW SWAP ON BUT CHANGED MY MIND DUE TO PARTS NEEDED AND BULL**** MPERFORMANCE SHOPS IN NEW YORK. ANYWAY I'VE BEEN READING THE THREADS ON TURBOING THE GE MOTOR. I ALREADY HAVE A GREDDY T-78 TURBO KIT FOR GTE MOTOR WOULD I BE ABLE TO PUT THIS TURBO KIT ON THE GE MOTOR. WHAT PROBLEMS WOULD I HAVE MOUNTING THIS KIT TO THE GE MOTOR IF ANY. WILL THE GE MOTOR BE ABLE TO HANDLE SUCH A BIG TURBO ALSO. THANKS FOR ANY INFO U GUYS CAN GIVE ME

There are several aftermarket manifolds out there. Boostlogic, PHR, Toyomoto, umm DaveH's. I'm sure I'm forgetting some?? I think BL makes an adapter setup for the t78 with their manifold?

the motor could if you lower the compression. the tranny on the other hand will blow up. the sc3 also doesn't have lsd so that might also be a problem with that much power. if you need a good installer in nyc, gimme a pm. He works on my car and my friend's supra. He also has a apu supra himself.

Actually you could make it work... The GTE and GE have different flanges for sure at the head, but it should be very possible to have the flange cut off and replaced with one to fit the GE head. Have the whole thing ceramic coated afterward and you'd probably never be able to tell...
