Default Supra rear-end question

for those who have done the 2jz swap. did you choose the get the supra rear end?

i know you will be fine doing the swap and leaving the rear end alone with a

custom drive shaft, but i was just wondering what would be a good reason for me

to get one.

Better gears, and of course Torsen LSD is standard on the 6-speed rearend. Remember when swapping out rear ends, you are going to have to change the driver side axle to a Supra TT one also.

no you do not HAVE to get the rear end. The sc rear end is fine.

IMHO, the stock 5speed rear end sucks azz
even without a tubro kit, I get crappy traction when driving it hard,
I have to be soooo light on the gas in the rain

Once my turbo kit goes in, traction will be as bad as a mustang

Sweet thanks for letting me know. This swap is getting expensive, so I think I will keep the rear end for the time being.
