Default silly question, but can it be done?

the pipes you see at local muffler shop, can those be used as a "temperoray" intercooler piping fr na-t?
any problems to ecpect when these pipes are used?

yes they can be used, it is called "crush bent piping"

there is a guy on sf that makes the piping for nonturbo.com, you should send him a pm.

The problem I see with milled steel, is that is it giong to rust on the inside? And thusly having flecks of rust enter the sylinders causing all sorts of havoc?

If youre gonna use muffler piping for the i/c, make them cut and weld mandrel bends for you. although a little more expensive, it will flow a lot better than the crunch bend process, not to mention it will look a lot better. Ive gone through 3 turbo cars and had the i/c piping all done with this method and never had any issues with the pipes rusting on the inside. Then again I live in socal so I never see snow or much rain at all.

tks fellas......i just can't afford those polished nice lookin' pipes yet.

good advices and i will definitely use them fr now. would 2.5inch be enough ??
