If you remove the frt plate be prepared to pay a couple tickets now and then.

Dunno about price but what I did is attached the License plate to my passenger side sunvisor.
Now when I see a cop approaching me, I just flip the visor down and I haven't been pulled over since.

If anyone wants to see how this looks from outside the car, lemme know and I'll post a pic fo ryou guys.

running the afm post-turbo? interesting, i was thinking of doing that myself...

what are the benefits other than the extra turbo whine and being able to run an open blow off valve like the 1g DSM?

Having the airflow meter too close to the turbo can cause turbulent air to kick back off the turbo and towards the meter as you let off from a heavy load, and can stall the car. We experimented with different mounting locations until finding the optimal one for my application.

There are a couple good reasons for it -
- it keeps the MAF in the stock location
- it meters the air very close to the TB - so if there are any IC tubing boost leaks they won't throw off the a/f
- the MAF ID is a lot closer to the upper IC tubing diameter than the intake diameter
- you don't have to recirc the BOV
- and like Lex Luthor said - with the MAF close to the comp. inlet the comp. wheel can disrupt the airflow through the MAF in certain cases

it was really the sound of the BOV that made me do it

Quick Reply: need some pics of yr na-t set up.
