Did my radiator just "burp" ????
After my baseball game tonight, I headed over to my aunts house.. About a 10 minute drive. About a minute after leaving campus, I noticed that i could smell anti-freeze. A little ways down the freeway , the smell got stronger. The temperature gauge stayed the same as it always did but the smell was nasty.. After i pulled in my aunts driveway, i left the car on, popped the hood and went to see what the heck was the problem.. there was a littl esmoke coming out from under the hood but the car was not overheated..... There was antifreeze splashed pretty much all around the radiator and some on the hood. Why would anti-freeze just spew out, or would it.. the engine was cold when I left 40 degrees out and i had to punch it to get on the freeway. Could that have had anything to do with it?
Anyways, after washing off the coolant, i left the car running for a a while and periodically revved the engine and the problem didn't come back. I even drove it back to campus. So my question is......... What the H3ll happened?

A little more info, About a week ago, I filled the resevior with anti-freeze because I got tired of seeing the Birdcage light for about 10 seconds each time. I only drove about 10 miles all together this past week. I guess I will take it somwhere to get the system flushed and checked out.
