Cost to Turbo a SC300???
There seems to be enough debate out here about FI and the V8 vs the SC300 and Turbo. I agree that if you want to go turbo, get a 300, and the kits are already made. It seems that the major concern about FI on the V8 is the cost- $5k to $7.5k estimated. And many state this is the stumbling block for FI'ing the V8.
I am curious, How much does it cost to turbo the SC300 and get it to 400-450 RWHP?
Anybody care to ante up the answer?

I know a shop in tampa that will build you a custom turbo kit, clutch, ems and everything on the road for a decent price. They quoted me like $6k about a year ago which is a really good price for everything including labor. That would put you over 400 pretty easy. I chose not to turbo the GE after all, instead so the swap which is alot more time consuming and expensive. If you want to do the swap i'd use Autotuner in orlando since they have been over it all time and again with my swap and steve, another friend of mine with a single turbo 6sp GTE swap. They would charge about $3500-$4000 in labor plus you supply the parts, $3000-$6000. PM me if your interested in either and i'll see if i can't get you a better deal.
BTW: imho, don't bother with the v8.
