97+ SC300 Auto to Manual?
How hard would the conversion from a 97 automatic to a manual using a stock Lexus 5 speed transmission (From a 95)? I am assuming I will need:
Transmission
Axels
ECU
Driveshaft
All of the interior parts (pedals, trim, etc)
If there any reason why it won't work?

If you're thinking about boost, just get the auto built. Oh... the 5-speed pumpkin should be a direct replacement; consequently, axles aren't require, IMO.
You'll also need the following:
1) Tranny cross member brace.
2) Tranny mount
3) Slave cylinder
4) Gas peddle stopper to replace kickdown switch
5) 5-speed brake pedel rubber thingy (autos have a wider brake pedal)
6) 5-speed pumpkin

No, it can be made to work. Hard?... no. Expensive?... probably (~$1500 parts/shipping + labor). Worth it?... I don't think so unless you just prefer a stick.

shifter assembly
shifter boot
shifter boot plate
clutch pedal assembly
clutch line
clutch master cylinder
manual transmission ECU
manual transmission brake pedal (not just the rubber thingy)
I am sure there is more but it's not that much expencive.
