Default Still can't fix tranny problem, help please.

Shifting is very rough when i go from first - second and second to third. I've done a full tune up including tranny fluid flush. It seems to get a little better when the tranny gets hot or if i abuse it but on cold and rainy days it is really bad. When i try to shift it feels like i can feel the gears moving inside and i hit one of them before it goes into gear. I don't want to redo the syncros because that is really expensive and i would rather try different areas before i go there. Would it be possible that the clutch cylinders are going out so it isn't fully disengaging since the first and 2nd gears are the bigger gears? i'm taking a guess here as i'm not good with cars. Or could it be that the shifter is beat up and it needs replacing? I have a 93 5 speed so the shifter is directly bolted onto the tranny... I don't know guys i'm out of ideas help me out. i'm planning on going the turbo route but i can't if i can't even get my tranny to work right first.

Look up trans shops in the yellow pages. Get 5+ different opinions. They know gearboxes.
